Emily J’s Re-Opening Announcement
Thank you all for the kind supporting emails and messages you’ve sent
in the past few weeks. As
you can imagine, the pandemic has been especially devastating to our
small business as I’m sure it has been for many of you.
Fortunately, all our staff remain healthy and anxious to greet
you again (contactless of course) back at work, to some semblance of
normalcy.
However, even with the Governor Kemp’s announcement that hair salons
can open April 24th and the improving trend in Georgia, the
current environment still requires that we remain vigilant about your
safety and that of our staff.
Hence, we will be going through a transition, beginning May 1,
opening in a phased approach to ensure that we are implementing and
refining our new safety and operating protocols.
Transition Phase – Beginning
on May 1
-
Our
staff will return to work individually on a voluntary basis, upon
completion of training
-
Safety protocols will be rollout and improved on an ongoing basis
-
We’ll open and only be onsite for appointments during this period
-
Number of appointments will be limited with additional gaps between
each appointment
-
Each
day’s first appointments will be reserved for higher risk clients
for their safety
-
Those with underlying health conditions will be asked to wait until
May 14th per state guidelines
-
Those recently ill or around someone who
has been ill is required to wait 14 days to reschedule
Full Opening
Phase – TBD Based on Improving Conditions
Thank you so much for your patience and we look
forward to opening and rebuilding.
We cannot do this without your help and support.
For more information on our updated safety and operating protocols
see details below.
Finally, in term of your appointments, we will
reach out to you individually via text or email to begin the process of
rescheduling and confirming your appointments.
For everyone with appointments that have passed, feel free to
text or email us so that we can plan on your return, get you rescheduled,
and better coodinate our re-opening ramp up.
Sincerely,
Your Friends at Emily J
